1. Who We Are

DeepPoints is operated by Jakub Jawniak. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at jakub.jawniak@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Email address — provided by you when you use the app. Used for rate limiting and optional product updates.
  • Generation inputs — the product, audience, and other text you enter into the form. Used to generate output and stored in your generation history.
  • Generation outputs — the hooks, headlines, and other AI-generated content. Stored so you can access your history and share links.
  • IP address — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Stored as a one-way hash (we cannot reverse it to your actual IP).
  • Local storage — we store your email in your browser's localStorage so you don't have to re-enter it each visit. This stays on your device only.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the service (generating hooks and headlines)
  • To enforce rate limits (3 free generations per day)
  • To prevent abuse (blocking disposable emails, IP throttling)
  • To store your generation history so you can revisit past outputs
  • To send occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime by emailing us)

4. Third Parties

Your generation inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the output. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on servers hosted by Railway (cloud hosting provider) with persistent storage.
  • Email addresses used for rate limiting are hashed (SHA-256) so they cannot be linked back to your email in the rate limit database.
  • We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
  • We do not store passwords because we do not have user accounts.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — ask us to delete all your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing of your data for marketing purposes

7. Data Retention

We retain your email and generation history for as long as the service is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

8. Cookies

We do not use cookies. We use browser localStorage to remember your email address for convenience. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.

9. Children

DeepPoints is not intended for use by anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
